Chapter 4 - The Fortress and the Cub

Following Hannah’s passing, I brought Noah and Caleb back to my fortress-like estate in Lake Forest. Surrounded by stone walls, armed patrols, and bulletproof glass, the boys experienced a world of extreme wealth juxtaposed with intense security. Yet, beneath their quiet demeanor, I saw the fierce resilience Hannah had instilled in them. They weren't scared of my world; they were ready to conquer it.
